Cesare Leonardi (1935-2021) and Franca Stagi (1937-2008) were two architects dedicated to industrial design in Modena between 1963 and 1983. Their designs are featured in important design books and form part of the permanent collections of several major museums. They also distinguished themselves through their use of photography as a tool for documentation, research, and design. Between 1970 and 1980, their studio focused on architecture: parks and public spaces conceived in close relation to trees and greenery.
