The passion for objects understood as industrial products is the glue that binds the professional collaboration between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin, founding partners of the eponymous Designstudio.
The different activities experienced over the years (interior design, graphic design, industrial design, and lighting design) have led to a mixed knowledge, contaminated by ideas developed in many fields.
Alfredo Chiaramonte was born in Bologna and studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Venice. Marco Marin was born in Venice and graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts specializing in industrial design.
They worked together with well-known furniture and lighting companies.
They taught at the European Centre for the Conservation of Architectural Heritage in Venice.
Over the years, they have received many awards, and some of their works have been exhibited in the permanent collections of international museums, including the Museo Correr in Venice, Beaubourg in Paris, the Calenzano Design Museum, the Anna Querci Foundation, MoMA in San Francisco, and the Venice Biennale when they worked with Yoko Ono.
