Fabrice Berrux is a French designer born in 1964 in Boulogne-Billancourt. He graduated from the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon and began his career in interior architecture before founding the group 18 Aoït in 1987, with which he created playful and artistic objects that were exhibited internationally. In 1991, he founded the company Dix Heures Dix, expanding his production and consolidating his presence in contemporary design. Some of his pieces are part of museum collections such as the Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Throughout his career, Berrux has developed innovative lighting fixtures using materials such as screen-printed glass, altuglass, and pleated fabrics, always focusing on light as an expressive element. He has also taught at several design schools in France and collaborated with renowned brands such as Roche Bobois, Lexon, Taittinger, and Serge Lesage. His work is characterized by a combination of functionality, visual poetry, and references to contemporary art.
