Barcelona, 1967. He began his studies in architecture and in 1988 started working at the Miguel Milà design studio. The experience gained led him to to study industrial design at the Elisava School. In 1994, together with Juan Carlos Ines, he founded the Ines-Milà from which elements such as the Tutombas Pranha lounger, the Sillarga and Sicurta outdoor lounger and chair, and the Balensiya rocking stool are created. Later, together with Miguel and Micaela Milà, he formed the Milà Design. Outstanding projects of the group are the interior design of the period apartment of the Casa Milà and the Rama lamppost, with which he won the ADI-FAD Delta de Plata award. In 1999 he started working at Santa & Cole Ediciones de Diseño as head of the urban division, focusing on the development of new products. Since 2001, he has been working in his own studio making urban furniture, interior and exterior lighting, accessories and projects that favor the integration of wildlife in the city. Rigorous essentialist, his way of projecting is human, close and based on the fundamental importance of utility.
