Isabel Campi (1951) is an industrial designer and design historian. She studied at Escola Eina (Barcelona), the London College of Furniture (London), and the University of Barcelona, where she earned her doctorate with a dissertation on 20th-century product design.
She has taught for 35 years, primarily at Escola Massana and Escola Eina, as well as other institutions in Barcelona. She has published several academic and popular books on design and its history.
For 40 years, her work has been instrumental in introducing this discipline to Spain.
She is the founder and president of the Design History Foundation and one of the most authoritative voices in the Spanish academic world interested in design.
