Jaume Freixa is an architect and professor of Architectural Design at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He worked for ten years, from 1969 to 1979, at the office of Sert, Jackson and Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, where he was responsible for European projects. After returning to Barcelona, he maintained a close professional and personal relationship with Josep Lluís Sert, which has led him to curate exhibitions about Sert and write books about him.
