Josep Lluís Xuclà (Barcelona, 1956) is a Spanish designer and interior designer recognized for his extensive career in the field of lighting and product design. Trained at the Escola d'Arts Aplicades i Oficis Artísticas Llotja, he began his career in graphic design before specializing in interior design and lighting. Since 1992, he has run his own studio in Barcelona, where he develops comprehensive projects ranging from conceptualization to execution, collaborating with architects and other creatives on both residential and contract projects.
His creative approach is characterized by a restrained and essential language, based on minimalism and the search for balance between form and function. Throughout his career, he has designed furniture and lighting fixtures that stand out for their formal simplicity and their sensitivity to light as a defining element of space. This trajectory has earned him international recognition, with awards such as the Red Dot Design Award, the IF Product Design Award and the Good Design Award, consolidating him as a key figure in contemporary Spanish design.
