Ricardo Cavolo is an internationally renowned Spanish illustrator, known for his vibrant and narrative style. His work, easily identifiable by its use of intense primary colors, the presence of fire and eyes as symbolic elements, and characters covered in tattoos who tell their stories, is inspired by medieval art, tattoo culture, and the stories of minorities or outsiders.
Throughout his career, Cavolo has transcended editorial illustration (where he has published books such as the graphic novel Jamfry and editions of classics such as Don Quixote) to become a multidisciplinary artist.
He has created murals in cities around the world (including Montreal, Hong Kong, and Mexico City) and has collaborated with an impressive list of luxury brands and global corporations, including Gucci, Apple, Zara, Nike, and Cirque du Soleil.
