Thierry Dreyfus is a leading lighting designer based in France. He first came into contact with stage lighting when he assisted with the lighting design of the Strasbourg Opera in the 1980s. His subsequent career has led him to create imaginative runway lighting for some of the biggest names in fashion, from Yves Saint Laurent to Helmut Lang.
For Martine Sitbon, he recreated the effect of the pink and amber lights of Paris, while for Dior Homme he designed a backlit theatrical effect with stroboscopic effects.
Dreyfus worked with designer Ann Demeulemeester for many years, beginning in 1989.
In addition to his fashion shows, Dreyfus has created lighting projects for the State Bank of France and has designed a range of lamps and domestic lighting. He is the founder of the luxury event production group Eyesight.
