Each piece is formed inside a reusable mold. As air is introduced, the glass expands to fill the open spaces within the structure. Heat keeps it malleable while gravity pulls it downward, creating elongated shapes that follow the contours of the mold, generating gentle stretches and indentations. Once the piece is cooled and set, the steel structure is removed, cleaned, and used again. The finished sphere retains the subtle traces of the forming process.
The 118p model is offered in white, bronze, green, and gray. It features three dimming levels and USB-C compatible charging. A 45-minute charge provides up to 8 hours of use at maximum brightness or up to 80 hours on the lowest setting.
