Inspired by the Arctic, Beaufort brings together carved solid wood and sandblasted acrylic in a serene and poetic composition. When off, the interplay between the sculpted wood and the faceted acrylic reveals a subtle glacial depth. When illuminated, the light flows softly through the form, unfolding in delicate layers and giving prominence to the lens as an object in itself. The horizontal R5 pendant emerges from a rotation of the component, creating an orbital expression of light.
