While strolling through Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá found an abandoned opal glass globe in front of a glass factory. He decided to take it into his home, and over the years it became the centerpiece of a large collection. As its name suggests, the structure of Cesta arose from the need to embrace this fragile shade.
