To trace lines of light in a space, each illuminating in any direction. This is the purpose of Fris, a multi-purpose lighting system available in wall or ceiling suspension versions. It allows for combining several units of different sizes and positions, each directing its own beam of light. Its design consists of a glass tube that envelops the light. Uniquely, the glass not only protects the light but also provides a mechanical function: it suspends the assembly and allows the lamp to rotate, making its light directional. Thus, the glass is both material and function. The transparency of the glass reveals the interior of the lamp, which consists of two profiles: one includes the light source and the other acts as a parabola, projecting a light of high quality and intensity.
