Leimu by designer Magnus Pettersen was inspired by modern architecture, specifically the combination of concrete and glass. Pettersen envisioned a beautiful interplay of warm and cool elements in what Pettersen called "industrial luxury." Designed to mimic a flame, Leimu is a striking balance of sensitivity and strength. The streamlined design features a delicate blown-glass shade and a solid concrete base. Achieving the right balance between concrete and glass required the finest experts at the Iittala Glassworks. Smooth to the touch, the handcrafted Leimu lamp reflects a soft, delicate light that warms any interior. The copper adds a golden sheen. A modern classic and winner of the prestigious iF design award.
