Leimu, designed by Magnus Pettersen, was inspired by modern architecture, specifically the combination of concrete and glass. Pettersen sought a beautiful interplay of warm and cool elements in what he termed "industrial luxury." The larger Leimu lamp makes a striking impression. Created to resemble a flame, the streamlined design features a delicate mouth-blown glass shade and a solid concrete base. Achieving the perfect balance between concrete and glass required the expertise of the finest glassmakers at the Iittala glassworks. Smooth to the touch, the handcrafted Leimu lamp casts a soft, gentle light that warms any interior. The gray adds casual sophistication. A modern classic. Winner of the prestigious iF Design Award.
