Miguel Milá is considered one of the first and most influential Spanish industrial designers. Starting as an interior designer within the framework of the country's first modernist movement, Milá set out to manufacture the objects he needed but could not yet find on the market. Using raw and renewable materials, he handcrafted prototypes of designs that he has continued to develop occasionally in order to perfect his now iconic collection of lighting and furniture.
