The piece draws inspiration from the marble drapery of ancient statues and funerary sculptures. Each light fixture appears weightless and fluid, yet solid in form, created through the hand-draping of fabric and plaster, and illuminated from behind to generate a halo effect that is both elegant and ethereal. These ghostly forms are then shaped with more plaster until they reach their final form and left to harden. The result is a delicate drapery that seems to float and illuminate. Due to its handcrafted nature, each one is unique.
