Originally launched in 1975, Sintesi was Artemide's first lamp designed by its founder, Ernesto Gismondi. Conceived as an intelligent system, it is based on simple, shared components that give rise to a versatile and functional product family. The tabletop version, now reissued, represents the core of the system from which the entire concept evolves.
Its design is minimalist yet highly functional, with a height- and angle-adjustable structure formed by a few curved metal elements. Two C-shaped profiles create a Y-shaped support that allows the lamp to be tilted with a simple opening and closing movement. It incorporates an E27 lamp holder that guarantees long-term adaptability, along with a reflector and a protective grille. Furthermore, it can be folded for easy packaging, reflecting Gismondi's practical and timeless vision, focused on production efficiency, quality, and technical innovation.
