This smaller version of The Guest is designed by Camille Walala, a multidisciplinary French designer based in London. Walala is characterized by a vibrant and distinctive body of work, manifested in her radical illustrations. In her proposal, Walala invites the viewer to take a journey through two pieces that fuse an artistic vision evoking optimism and chromatic energy. The Guest by Camille Walala is full of contrasts, combining bright and bold colors with intricate shapes and patterns. As in most of her works, Walala has intervened the porcelain with "slightly imperfect" abstract shapes, soft, hand-drawn lines, and circles to create a dynamic and powerful visual effect. These two creations are based on the artist's series of works called Putting Things in Perspective, in which she creates trompe l'oeil plays with planes and perspectives.
